Purpose: Financial Planners Standards Council (FPSC) is a Canadian not-for-profit organization incorporated in 1995. FPSC awards the internationally recognized designation Certified Financial Planner™ or CFP™ to financial planners who meet FPSC's requirements. FPSC works to benefit the public and the financial planning profession by establishing and enforcing uniform standards of education, experience, examination and ethics for financial planning professionals.
