Purpose: CFHS is the only national body representing over 100 animal welfare organizations and more than 400,000 individuals whose purpose is to promote compassion and humane treatment for all animals. We work with the public, government, industry, the scientific community, educators and the media to address legislation, animal cruelty, intensive livestock production and transportation, pets, research animals, animals in entertainment and wildlife.
