Honour The Treaties Round Dance

January 12, 2014

Idle No More Toronto is sending out this call for Hand drummers, singers, and dancers to join us for a Honour The Treaties Round Dance in support of the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation Case against the Tar Sands. Neil Young and Diana Krall who are in solidarity with this cause are doing this benefit concert. This is a call for All Nations and Allies to join us to round dance in front of Massey Hall before the concert to show solidarity. Please feel free to bring your signs and banners.
Keep on rockin' in the free world! See you there.

Update: Please attend if you can, "Honour Thy Neil" event at Cameron House for all Activists from 4-7, then there will be a walk from Cameron House to Massey Hall for Honour the Treaties Round Dance at 7:30.
Before the big guy hits the stage at Massey Hall, come on out to the Cameron House front room for a celebration of Neil Young's music and to learn about the tar sands issues. Folks are invited to take the stage and play their favourite Neil (or non-Neil) songs. There will also be some fantastic guest speakers and a table full of information.
Following the Cameron House event, you are invited to join us in a walk to Massey Hall, where we will do some further outreach on Line 9 and partake in an Idle No More round dance at 7:30.
