Fostering Sustainable Behaviour - Fostering Urban Forests
November 15, 2013
After 50 years of urban forestry discussions, we continue to arrive at one essential question: How do we increase how trees are valued? The overarching and underlying question is: How do we get people to change their behaviours? To help answer that question, we have invited Dr Doug McKenzie-Mohr, a world-renowned speaker and the founder of community based social marketing. "Identifying barriers to desired behaviours and overcoming those barriers" is the core of community based social marketing.
