Anti Poverty March: Confront the Liberal Party Leadership Convention

This coming Saturday, January 26th is the 'Anti-Poverty march' as part of the broader day of action challenging the Liberal Party Leadership Convention. Here are some important updates for the day and please see the growing list of participating orgs below:
Staying Warm on the Day: We are getting a donation of warm clothes, hats and mitts from the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario. We will have this for distribution at Moss Park at 11:45am on Saturday so everyone can make sure to stay warm. We will also have free hot coffee and a hot
meal.
Transportation and getting to the march from your area:
Out of Town: Buses are coming from Kitchener, Hamilton, Sudbury, Kingston, and London for the day and participating in the Anti-Poverty march. If you need info on those buses please send us an email or call: 416-925-6939
In Toronto: groups will be meeting up with TTC tokens and coming to the march together. You can join up with ( map ):
- Sistering Drop-in: 11am @ 962 Bloor St. West (Bloor/Dovercourt)
- Bread and Bricks: 11:15am @ Dundas West Subway Station
- Weston-King: 10:30am @ 2017 Weston Rd
- Parkdale: 11am @ PARC drop-in (1499 Queen St. West)
Join, Endorse, Organize a Contingent: Plan to join us on the day, organize a contingent from your neighborhood, area, or organization to meet up with us at Moss Park, 12noon, and march through Toronto's Downtown East neighborhood to join the OFL rally.
