International Indigenous Solidarity Rally At The United Nations

The purpose:
1. Draw attention to the governing crisis in Canada & the need for UN intervention caused by Bill C-45, & seek UN Support of First Nations to honor treaty, nation-to-nation status. 2. Draw attention to the missing and murdered aboriginal women of Canada. 3. US immigration policies that deny indigenous people of their human rights, and addressing racialized immigration policies that deprive indigenous people of dignity. 4. Address the safety of child immigrants, & US policies that deport immigrant parents, in support of broader free movement. 5. The status of non-recognized tribal groups in Canada & the U.S. 6. Indigenous rights, land rights of Mexico. 7. Addressing core human rights within the scope of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People. 8. Provide a universal voice of survival of indigenous youth of the western hemisphere, including the right to be free from poverty, landlessness, the right to education, healthcare, housing, clean water, and affirming the universal right to exist. 9. Free movement of indigenous people across borders. 10. Lack of economic advancement & policies that favor a corrupt bankster climate that exploits resources on & adjacent to native lands & communities. 11. Addressing energy policy of industrialized nations that are causing climate change, and its negative impact on indigenous communities, need for clean energy investment in native communities & environmental protection. 12.
