Environmental Sciences Symposium: Environmental Outlook on Agriculture - A Public Perspective

Every year, University of Guelph students take part in hosting an Environmental Sciences Symposium (ESS) which focuses on a current environmental issue. This student-run, non-profit event seeks to enhance the knowledge of University of Guelph students, general public, and anyone willing to learn. The 2012 ESS will explore an 'Environmental Outlook on Agriculture: A Public Perspective.' We will be hosting lectures and workshops by speakers from a variety of backgrounds including Science, Social Studies, Industry, and the Arts all offering their own unique opinions and experiences. The ESS will be taking place on January 21st, 2012, and we are expecting approximately 400 attendees including academics, students and many members of the community. Tickets will be made avaliable in the coming months, so please keep posted!
