Canada World Youth's 40th Anniversary

CWY is working in partnerships with Kijabe Environmental Volunteers (KENVO).
Together we will be celebrating CWY's 40th anniversary in Winnipeg by showing an AWARD-WINNING FILM THAT CONNECTS ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION WITH HUMAN RIGHTS
TAKING ROOT: The Vision of Wangari Maathai, tells the dramatic story of Kenyan Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Wangari Maathai whose simple act of planting trees grew into a nationwide movement to safeguard the environment, protect human rights, and defend democracy.
Time: Doors open at 7pm
