Food Forests Workshop at Everdale
August 21, 2011
Food Forests are employed in permaculture design to create extremely productive, low maintenance systems, on a small amount of land. They provide multiple yields such as food, fibre, medicine, mulch, habitat and fodder for both wildlife and domestic animals, and of course, beauty. If participants are not already familiar with permaculture principles we will start with a brief overview of them and then focus on Food Forest design and implementation for the remainder of the day. Come prepared to get your hands dirty as we explore and help to expand the emerging Food Forest at Everdale. Cost: $85, including tax Please register online at: http://workshops.everdale.org/at-the-farm/and-more/food-forests-multiple...
