Geological Hike with Alan Morgan

If you couldn’t join us in July for Alan Morgan’s guided geological hike, you’re in luck, because he’s back to do it again! Join University of Waterloo, Emeritus Professor, and member of the rare Environmental Advisory Committee, Alan Morgan, on this guided tour on the trails at rare. Alan will explain the geological background to the area pointing out features of interest. The walk is relatively easy with two short steep sections, but other than that, fairly flat. We will start and end at the Slit Barn and the duration will be about 2.5 hours.
Time: 9:30am - 12:00 pm
Venue: Meet in the parking lot of rare’s Slit Barn at 768 Blair Road, Cambridge
