FIRST EQUATOR Seminar: 'Getting your trial published: CONSORT 2010 and other reporting guidelines' Target audience: Clinical and non-clinical professionals involved in planning, conducting and publishing randomised trials. Preparing a publication of a randomised trial to ensure all important details are included in the report is a very demanding task. This seminar will help you to increase your chances of preparing a first class paper – it will discuss major problems in trial reporting, identify all relevant guidelines useful for manuscript preparation and present the views of journal editors regarding the expected quality of submitted manuscripts. SECOUND EQUATOR Seminar: 'Better reporting of better research = better healthcare: a patient plea' Following the great success of our previous Lectures we would like to invite you to the 3rd EQUATOR Annual Lecture presented by Hazel Thornton Hon. DSc., Founding Chairman of the Consumers’ Advisory Group for Clinical Trials. Improving human health and patient care is the ultimate goal of medical research. This year’s lecture will offer a perspective that will attempt to focus attention on the need for everyone citizens included to realise the importance of their part in the network of activity that drives improvement in the quality of healthcare. Effective and efficient inter-connectedness is vital to ensure that findings are relevant, reliable & available.
