26th annual Mayworks Festival of working people and the arts

Mayworks! Where else can you find Juno nominated musicians, CBC Poetry Face-off winners, works by emerging Indigenous playwrights, provocative dance, a walking tour, a writing workshop, evocative video, storytelling, mural making for kids, visual arts galore and more? Mayworks celebrates artists as workers and workers as artists in a weeklong multi-disciplinary festival across the GTA. Many events are free (some tickets up to $15) and most are wheelchair accessible.
Artists include Ghadeer M., jamila malika, Jessie Anthony, John Wort Hannam, Leila Pourtavaf, Ashley Bomberry, Carlie Howell, Clare Preuss, Motion, Dave Silverberg, D-Lishus, Dinah Thorpe, Donna-Michelle St. Bernard, Amy Gottlieb, Brett Story, Camille Turner, Clare Preuss, Dan Bergeron, Lisa Cromarty, Lishai, Maria Dunn, MataDanZe, Maureen Hynes, Michelle Muir, Paul Boddum, Rick Hill, Ruben 'Beny' Esguerra, Sundance Crowe, Tyler Pennock and more!
