Professional Solar Installation Training at Kortright
March 28, 2011 to April 01, 2011
To meet the growing demand for trained installers and educators, Kortright offers a five-day training session that includes extensive photovoltaic theory, hands-on labs and the full installation experience of mutiple system types. This course will prepare partcipants to write the NABCEP (North American Board Certified of Energy Practitioners) entry level certification exam and to enter the growing solar energy marketplace.
Course Covers: 1. Photovoltaic Markets and Applications 2. Solar and Electrical Fundamentals and Site Planning 3. Photovoltaic Fundamentals and System Components 4. Photovoltaic System Design, Sizing and Building Integration 5. Code, Regulations and Safety 6. Installation Practices
