APPLIED HYDROLOGY (24 HOURS)

Water has a role in the development of most human activities. This course will examine, from an Alberta perspective, the supply and demand for water, hydrologic principles, hydrogeology principles, and the environmental issues related to water management. Surface and subsurface water movement, erosion, sedimentation and the effects of pollution including dispersion will also be studied.
