University of Toronto Environmental Career Day
March 03, 2011
We are looking forward to a great new year when we will be hosting our 10th Annual Environmental Career Day at the University of Toronto. We hope you can join us! The Graduate Environmental Students Association (GESA), Toronto Undergraduate Geography Society (TUGS), the Environmental Students Union (ENSU), and the Forestry Union of Students (FUS) are working in collaboration with the University of Toronto's Centre for Environment, to organize our 10th annual Environmental Career Day on Thursday, March 3rd, in Hart House on the St. George Campus. The primary goal of this event is to introduce public, private and non-profit organizations to our talented graduate and undergraduate students, and to provide these students with the opportunity to get career advice from your organizations, as well as our speakers. Hundreds of students at the 3rd and 4th year undergraduate, Masters and PhD levels attended last year's event, from UofT and other universities in southern Ontario, such as Guelph, McMaster, Waterloo, and Western. As such, the Environmental Career Day will be an excellent opportunity for your organization to showcase itself, as well as advertise career, internship, co-op and/or volunteer opportunities to Toronto's future engineers, planners, geographers, toxicologists, lawyers, and environmental professionals.
