Coalition of Progressive Electors winter gala
February 26, 2011
COPE is celebrating winter in style with a masquerade ball at the beautiful Museum of Vancouver! The COPE Winter Gala is a chance for you to dress up and spend a wonderful evening with fellow COPE supporters, elected officials and leaders of Vancouver's labour and political community.
Hosted by the talented and hilarious Charlie Demers, the evening features an exciting taste of the west coast with food inspired by Vancouver, a judging panel of the best masks and a special musical performance you won't want to miss -- all surrounded by the beautiful views of English Bay.
Tickets for the event are $70 each, with early bird tickets including a free bar ticket or $5 off, and student/youth under 28 or fixed income tickets available for only $40. Tickets are available online here: copewintergala.eventbrite.com or can be purchased directly from COPE without a fee via email or phone: cope@cope.bc.ca or 604-255-0400.
Tickets for individuals on low or fixed income are also available, as well as a small selection of complimentary tickets. They can be obtained by contacting COPE directly.
COPE needs your support as we head into a fall election, especially one with so many critical issues facing Vancouver including affordable housing, accessible parks and community centres and the threat to our neighbourhood schools. Your support means COPE can continue the important work it has at City Council, Parks Board, and School Board.
