The Body Series: The Colour of Beauty

This workshop explores the commercialisation of beauty: how it gets marketed, what the industry norms are, who decides, and finally who has the power to change it. The session includes a screening of The Colour of Beauty, a short documentary by Elizabeth St. Philip (Breakin' In: The Making of a Hip-Hop Dancer), followed by a discussion with the filmmaker.
The discussion will be led by Jill Andrew, Director of the BITE ME! Toronto International Body Image Film & Arts Festival, co-presenters of The Body Series.
