Connexions Calendar

G20 Reading Week

November 15, 2010 to November 20, 2010

We need to educate ourselves, our families, colleagues, neighbours, and communities about the issues that brought us into the streets of Toronto during the latest G20 summit, and about the ideas that inspire us to create a better world. Thankfully, this task is not so difficult--there is a wealth of literature on all of these subjects readily available to us. And for the week of Nov. 15-20, your purchase of books published by PM Press, Fernwood Publishing, and Microcosm will help support the G20 Legal Defense Fund.

Every day we will be showcasing a different author or book, so check back frequently for updates. Additionally, a number of communities will be hosting G20 Reading Week events, so check the events listing for one near you, or host one yourself!

Stock up on reading material yourself, or pick out some radical holiday gifts. And you can always donate directly to the legal fund if you're feeling particularly in the spirit of solidarity!
