Book Reading: Our Way to Fight

October 14, 2010

A multi-media world premiere, with text and voice

Michael Riordon's forthcoming book, Our Way to Fight, documents creative resistance on both sides of the wall. In thousand year-old olive groves, besieged villages, refugee camps, checkpoints and barracks, here are the dangerous lives of non-violent activists, via excerpts from the author's text and the activists’ own voices.

Our Way to Fight emerges from encounters with more than sixty grassroots peace and human rights activists in Palestine and Israel. The book will be released in January 2011 by Pluto Press in the UK and Between the Lines in Canada.

Michael Riordon, is a Canadian writer and documentary-maker, Michael generates books and articles, audio, video and film documentaries, and plays for radio and stage. A primary goal of his work is to recover voices of people(s) who have been written out of the official version. In 2005, he published the book: An Unauthorized Biography of the World: Oral History on the Front Lines.
