Voices Foward: Film and Culture about People from Israel & Palestine


November 15, 2008 to November 16, 2008


For people who are curious and interested in participating in screenings, events and discussions that endeavour to bring new perspectives about people from Israel & Palestine. As well as presenting screenings and events throughout the year, Voices Forward presents its 3rd annual weekend of film, photography, theatre & discussion on November 15-16 where diverse personal experiences of daily living by visiting Palestinian and Israeli artists and filmmakers will be shared. Our hope is to acknowledge the realities in these films and artistic works focusing on individuals from both sides with the courage to showcase human stories. We believe these voices should be heard: nothing can communicate humanity and the human experience better than art.
