Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME) is pleased to present Prof. Mearsheimer on a speaking tour in Canada. Mearsheimer is the co-author (with Stephen Walt) of The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy, a book that summarizes the cumulative impact of dozens of forces at work to influence U.S. (and thus Western) policy to favour Israeli interests, Prof Mearsheimer is on a three-city speaking tour of Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto. He is the co-director of the Program on International Security Policy at the University of Chicago, where he has taught since 1982.
