Migrant Rights in Canada: Resisting Racism, Seeking Justice
March 21, 2019
Urban Alliance on Race Relations and Toronto and York Region Labour Council jointly invite you to join us at our Community Forum at Toronto City Hall to mark International Day for Elimination of Racial Discrimination (March 21st). Hate crimes and incidents of racism have been on the rise. The xenophobic narratives about refugees and migrants have been on the rise, emboldened by a few but significant number of political representatives and media outlets. It is extremely critical that we put forward a concerted, focused and united effort to push back against increasing hate and racism. Please join on this important historic day to stand together for racial justice, human rights and freedom.
Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Venue: Toronto City Hall
Location: Toronto, ON
