Building SustainABLE Communities Conference
November 21, 2017 to November 24, 2017
The Fresh Outlook Foundation is hosting its 7th Building SustainABLE Communities conference Nov 21-24 in Kelowna, BC. The overarching theme is Innovation Through Collaboration, with major forum topics being Climate Action, Water Stewardship, Food Systems/Security, and Community Capital/Infrastructure. Workshops will address Community Engagement, Environmental Economics, and SustainAbility for Young Adults & Professionals. Breakout session will explore Climate Change & Community Health, Leadership & Governance, Active Transportation, Local Prosperity, Collaborative Change, Sustainable Development, Ecological Imperatives, and the Sharing Economy.
BSC typically draws delegates from local government, business, and the nonprofit and academic sectors. Students are also a major contingent. This highly acclaimed event offers affordable registration fees for daily or full-conference attendance, with substantial discounts for students and nonprofit delegates.
