What hath Balfour wrought? Answered by a Palestinian human rights lawyer
November 15, 2017
A century ago this month, Arthur Balfour and the British government working with early Zionists laid the seeds of much of what unsettles the world today. Almost biblical* in the scale of devastation of lands and people, the Balfour Declaration needs to be understood not just for its genesis but more importantly for where it has brought us. Jonathan Kuttab, a Palestinian lawyer answers the question from a legal and human rights perspective. Followed by Q&A conversation.
