UNsettle Picnic

MP Carolyn Benett, Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs will be hosting a Canada Day 150 Picnic on July 1st at Spadina Museum. We will attend this event to remind MP Carolyn Bennett that they are celebrating 150 years of Colonialism and genocide the Canadian state has and continues to inflict upon Indigenous people. We are unsettling colonialism. No more MMIW, No more MMIM, No more removal of indigenous children into Child Welfare system, No more youth suicides, No more homeless, No more poverty, No more corporate resource extraction on Indigenous lands, and No piplelines. Honor the Treaties. Duty to Consult.
