The Word On The Street, Halifax
September 16, 2017
For the past twenty years Word on the Street Halifax has been a community driven initiative providing an opportunity for authors, publishers, book sellers, aspiring writers and readers to join together to increase awareness of the importance of reading and writing skills, in addition to encouraging discussion on the value of literature and literacy.
There is no cost to attend the Festival, it is open to people of all ages, and we encourage you to visit the various author presentations, meet with publishers and booksellers. If you are an aspiring writer why not make it a point to “Pitch the Publisher!”
Word of the Street Halifax is an excellent opportunity to celebrate the written and spoken word.
