A SU PROPIO RITMO/AT ITS OWN RHYTHM A Su Propio Ritmo explores the artist’s personal impressions of the historical significance of the Cuban Revolution, as seen through the lens of the Noticiero ICAIC Latinoamericano (Latin American Newsreel).
SNUPE This is the story of a promising artist with talent beyond his years, of giving into temptation, and of a man’s attempt at redemption and a musical comeback.
NATURE DAZZLES Nature Dazzles is a documentary film that portrays the endeavours of a teenage student as she inspires fellow schoolmates to write letters to Premier Kathleen Wynn and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
UM FIO MAGICO/A MAGIC THREAD In search of his own identity and answers to his ancestors’ family history, and spurred by reasons of survival, Eduardo left his family and country to immigrate to Canada. The artist left behind a brother, who transitioned into a trans-woman before Eduardo was able to better understand the situation and offer the appropriate support.
ON THE ROAD TO VIRTUE Meyer Brownstone, a social justice activist, has spent over seventy years fostering human development around the world. As Brownstone reflects on those experiences, he reminds us of the importance of documenting such situations and how this can lead to more compassionate political engagement.
