Red Canoe - 2nd annual march for Safe storage of radioactive waste

August 22, 2018

This will be our second Red Canoe March. At this demo we will call for safe storage of radioactive waste and safe and careful dismantling of nuclear reactors.

The demo will coincide with an "update meeting" where the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission will be discussing novel ways to get nuclear liabilities off the books of the Government of Canada quickly and cheaply - needless to say, we are not keen on these novel approaches which are not safe and do not conform to international best practices or guidance from the International Atomic Energy Agency.
