Swift talks about his memories of TCLPAC, the Toronto Committee for the Liberation of Portugual's African Colonies, an organizaton founded in 1972. It was a different time when clarity about the causes and cures for the world's ills seemed a lot easier to achieve.
Note that after the 1974 coup in Portugal, TCLPAC changed its name to TCLSAC, the Toronto Committee for the Liberation of Southern Africa.
