Re: City shocked by proposal to extend runway

Robert Deluce’s last-minute proposal to extend the runway into the lake is part of an already disastrous plan to have extended service with jets at the island airport. A health impact assessment is underway by Toronto Public Health but previous studies of similar situations of communities in such close proximity to jets have shown that this is a dangerous and unhealthy situation. It is indeed “ll-conceived.”
