Abstract:
Kent Van Til argues that a theory of justice must go beyond the capitalist economy that drives the markets and distribution of goods. Justice must do more than just protect life, property and contractual exchanges. Basic sustenance should be a fundamental right. He proposes an alternative theory of distributive justice that would change the reality of the 40 percent of the world that lives on less than 2 dollars a day.
