Abstract: In the spring of 1985, the PEOPLE'S ACTION COALITION sponsored an inquiry on human rights in Saskatoon, with more than 50 groups submitting briefs. Testimony at the inquiry was taped and edited to produce six videotapes on:
- Protection from poverty (welfare rights and inadeuqate support);
- Women's work rights;
- Justice
- Children (reproductive rights, child care, single parent support)
- The right to good work.
Groups may borrow these tapes free of charge, on 3/4-inch tapes. 1/2-inch tapes can be borrowed free from One Sky, 134 Avenue F. South, Saskatoon, Sask. S7L 1Y8. The tapes may be useful to groups in other cities which might want to put on their own people's inquiry.
