Abstract:
The ASSOCIATION OF CANADIAN WOMEN COMPOSERS promotes and encourages the music of women composers in Canada. It is a professional organization restricted to experienced and training composers, but also has associate memberships. It tries to foster a spirit of friendship, community and affirmative action. There areabout 50 members, and a newsletter is published.
