Abstract: A summary of Amos Goldberg's (leading professor of the Holocaust at Hebrew University in Jerusalem) guest post in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung in which he counters Felix Klein's (Germany's commissioner for Jewish Life and the Fight Against Anti-Semitism) assertions that using "apartheid" to describe the Israeli government's current initiatives against Palestinians is anti-semitic. Goldberg further states that his is not an outlier position amongst Jewish academics, as a growing number continue to speak out about Israel's treatment of Palestinians. |
