Excerpt: The brothers shared an ideology called Liberal Socialism, with Carlo on the more radical side when it came to praxis. Rossellian socialism lands somewhere in-between J.S. Mill and Errico Malatesta. While Carlo was writing his political Magnus Opus, "Liberal Socialism," Nello argued to his brother that this ideology was already present in the milieu of libertarian socialism in post-Risorgimento Italy.
