Abstract:  Since 1972, the CANADIAN WOMEN'S MOVEMENT ARCHIVES has been preserving material on the women's movement. The ARCHIVE contains materials dating from the late 1960s to the present. It has newspapers, magazines, newsletters and journals from 122 women's groups and 23 women's centre from across the country.

The ARCHIVE, open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, is part of an international network of alternative archives, set up to ensure proper storage and provide research material.

Women's groups are asked to send materials to the ARCHIVE.
