Abstract:  This is the newsletter of the Canadian Non-Governmental Organization Participation Group for Habitat. In this issue the role of the Canadian Non-governmental Organization Participation Group in facilitating the process of public participation is outlined and evaluated. The monitoring of Habitat is outlined and a manifesto agreed to by the representative NGOs is presented. It relates to issues of land use, indigenous peoples' rights, nuclear power, the New International Economic Order, a Canadian dollar commitment to the conference's water target, and the process of public participation. Addresses for provincial NGO Steering Committees are listed. There are excerpts from the Habitat Commons Debate - June 21 and an article about NGO's after Habitat.
