Seven News (7 News) was a community-based newspaper published in Toronto's Ward 7 from 1970 to 1985. During this time, Ward 7 covered the area of Toronto east of downtown, from Sherbourne Street to Logan Avenue, south of Bloor-Danforth, including Don Vale, Cabbagetown, Regent Park, Riverdale, and St. Jamestown. The inaugural issue (May 29, 1970) states that the paper is published by Ward Seven Co-operative. The next issue contains a correction stating that the correct name of the publishing organization is Ward Seven Newspaper Organization.
