Notes

[1] The question of the Co-operative Bank was discussed at a meeting of the Politbureau attended by Lenin on November 2, 1922. The Politbureau passed the following decision: “The following theses of Comrade Lenin should be referred as a basis to a committee, which is directed to submit to the Politbureau a written report on fulfilment."

The document published in this volume contains Lenin’s note: “Keep for my talk with Khinchuk” (L. M. Khinchuk was Chairman of the Board of Centrosoyuz.—Ed.).
