[1] Written on a memo to the R.C.P.(B.) Central Committee from Deputy People’s Commissar for Food N. P. Bryukhanov and Deputy People’s Commissar for Foreign Trade A. M. Lezhava, reporting the possibility of purchasing 5 million poods of wheat in North-Eastern Persia, and requesting the allocation of 4 million silver rubles for that purpose. On July 6, 1921, this was approved by the Politbureau.
On July 18, the Narrow C.P.C. appropriated 4 million rubles for the People’s Commissariat for Foreign Trade.
