I AM FEMEN: Toronto premiere with special guests

Cinema Politica @ The Bloor presents the Toronto premiere of a documentary looking at one of the most controversial activist groups in the world - Femen. Join us when we screen this new documentary on the Ukrainian group and host a discussion on LGTBQ and feminist activism in that part of the world, led by York professor Marusya Bociurkiw. The Swiss director Alain Margot paints the portrait of a bewitching and many-faceted persona, while also revealing the stories of the brave young women who have fought for freedom of speech and democracy.
