Available Light Film Festival

Held in Whitehorse, Canada's largest feature film festival north of 60 is a feast of contemporary Canadian and International cinema that takes place in the heart of winter. The 10th anniversary Available Light Film Festival will include 30 award-winning fiction and documentary films, special anniversary programming, workshops, and the 3-day Yukon Media Forum with filmmakers and industry delegates. Past guest directors have included Guy Maddin, John Walker, Nettie Wild, Zacharias Kunuk, Gil Cardinal, Charles Officer, Jason James, Neil Diamond, Carol Geddes, Omar Majeed, Peter Wintonick, Sherry White, Tantoo Cardinal, and Carl Bessai.
