A Toronto community book discussion of the novel "Mornings in Jenin" by Susan Abulhawa.Susan Abulhawa was born to refugees of the 1967 War and moved to the United States as a teenager. She is the founder of Playgrounds for Palestine, an NGO that builds playgrounds for children in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and in refugee camps elsewhere.Mornings in Jenin (Bloomsbury Books, 2010) is a sweeping, heart-wrenching historical saga about four generations of the Palestinian Abulheja family.
