A desciption of Ontario People's Energy Network (O.P.E.N.) and other similar organizations.

Abstract:
With Central Ontario appearing to be the pride site for Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd., many Ontarians are beginning to react against the growth of the nuclear energy industry in their own back yard. Some of these groups are: S.E.A.P. (Save Our Environment from Atomic Pollution) in Port Hope, a pressure group in Bowmanville C.O.R.P. (Citizens Opposed to Radioactive Pollution) in the Belleville-Madoc area. In Ottawa, the Ontario People's Energy Network (O.P.E.N.) has been formed in order to network these various groups and individuals, who are resisting nuclear growth and are concerned about developing safe, clean energy resources. The O.P.E.N. group has combined with experience and organizing skills.

This organization no longer exists.
