#NOMIC Forum & March

December 19, 2017 to December 21, 2017

We will continue to hold space and vigil to serve as a visual reminder and an urgent plea that we as Nation to Nation Treaty partners want something tangible done and we want it done now!

Our vision is to hold a Forum and March on December 20 & 21, to open up space and a platform for the youth of the Northern Indigenous communities who have expressed interest in joining us and sharing their stories and vision in their own words and how we may all contribute in a meaningful way moving forward to bring about change.

On December 19, 2017 we will host the youth to a welcoming feast and gathering.

On December 20, 2017 there will be an informal forum (location TBA) where we will hear the youth as they share with us and engage in meaningful conversation on how we can and will do better in our relations as Treaty partner as we work towards reconciling our relations.

Then on December 21, 2017 we will March (route yet TBA) together to a Round Dance Ceremony (that will be hosted by INM~Toronto) and end the day's event with a send-off feast and gathering. Details yet to be announced as we are working to pull it all together now.

Time: Tues 9:00 AM to Thurs at 9:00 PM
Location: 25 St Clair Ave E. Toronto, ON
