Environmental Justice Panel moderated by Francoise David
November 22, 2017
First Nations activists and racialized and marginalized women are at the heart of the battle for environmental justice. Speaking from communities disproportionally impacted by toxic exposures and environmental degradation, they are moving environmental concerns from the abstract “future of the planet” to the immediate health and social consequences of living with chronic exposure to toxic substances.
Breast Cancer Action Quebec invites the public to participate in an evening discussion among activists, academics and community workers as they discuss their strategies and talk about how they integrate their analyses into their daily lives and work.
